Foundations of Children’s Ministry is designed to help new children’s ministry leaders (three years or less on church staff) understand key areas of responsibility within children’s ministry in the local church.
Foundations of Children’s Ministry is a series of eight required classes using a modified “flipped classroom” approach to learning. Participants will receive assignments for required reading and viewing before each teaching session. The teaching sessions will allow time to process and discuss the material in relation to the participant’s ministry setting with other ministry leaders. The goal is to equip ministry leaders with a deeper understanding of children’s ministry for the purpose of training and preparing their volunteers to lead well in their ministry assignments.
