Mills Home Campus of Baptist Children’s Homes, Thomasville

Camp BAM is an intergenerational camp that provides an opportunity to be the

hands and feet of Jesus to serve aging adults in need. Campers will connect

personally with local seniors and meet safety needs by constructing wheelchair

ramps, installing grab bars and smoke alarms, and performing yard work.

(Construction experience is not necessary; each crew will have an experienced

leader.)

Camp BAM includes:

Construction project materials

Lodging, meals and snacks

Fun activities such as icebreakers and cookouts

Worship sessions with debriefings about the projects and the person(s) to be served

Schedule 

June 19: Registration / afternoon arrival

July  20-22: Project workdays at jobsites

June 23: Sunday worship / special connections

Cost for this all-inclusive camp is $185 per person. 

$85 nonrefundable deposit per person (and camper information) due May 1

$100 balance per person due June 1
