This one day equipping conference is designed to prepare men to be courageous, effective Christ-followers.
The IHM Conference is for men of all ages and will include worship, and inspiring messages from two nationally known keynote speakers. Resources for men’s personal growth and men’s ministry development in the church will be featured. Three breakout session times will offered with a choice of 18 seminars led by men’s leaders from around the nation.

Chris Harper – BetterMan CEO. Author. Disciple-Maker Dr. Chris Harper (aka Harp) is passionate about biblical manhood, and often speaks on topics such as a man’s identity in Christ, the trouble and trials that threaten men, and the importance of being a gospel-centered husband and father. With a fiery and magnetic teaching style, Chris is sure to motivate and move his listeners. Chris holds a Master’s Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary SWBTS. Chris and his wife, Ally, live with their four children – Scarlett, Malachi, Calvin, and Oliver – in Arlington, Texas. Among other things, Chris puts out a daily devotional thought called Good Trouble. Here is a sample. |

Rod Handley – Rod Handley is the Founder & President of Character that Counts, a ministry established in 2000. Rod speaks all across the nation to men, women and teenagers about character, integrity and accountability issues. He has written over 30 books including “Character Counts: Who’s Counting Yours?”From 1986-1999, he served on the staff of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, including 11 years as the COO/CFO. He has also spoken at hundreds of chapel services for a number of NFL, NBA and MLB teams, including serving as team chaplain for the Seattle Super Sonics and Kansas City Royals. Rod and his wife Janna live in Lee’s Summit, MO and they have four children (ages 24-31) and three grandchildren. |
