Registration is now open for the 2025 Disciple-Making Conference. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming discipleship event.

On Feb. 25, 2025, N.C. Baptists from across the state will gather together in Raleigh for the annual Disciple-Making Conference to explore how to reach, train, send and serve on mission together.

This one-day conference, hosted by The Summit Church at the Capital Hills Campus, will feature more than 30 breakout sessions covering a variety of topics.

N.C. Baptists will walk away from the conference encouraged and equipped to be on mission together, ready to develop disciple-making disciples.

“We are thrilled to gather with N.C. Baptists from across the state for our Disciple-Making Conference,” said Brian Upshaw, director of the Ministry Strategies group for N.C. Baptists. “Our time together is considered an ‘iron sharpens iron’ moment where we come together to learn from our peers and thought leaders on reaching the lost, training believers, sending the called and serving the community through gospel-centered and practical approaches to ministry, missions and evangelism.”

This year, conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker J.D. Greear, who has served as the lead pastor of The Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham since 2001.

Under Greear’s leadership, The Summit has grown from a plateaued church of 300 to one of over 10,000. Greear completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Chick-fil-A since January 2022 and recently served as the 62nd president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Disciple-Making Conference will begin at 9 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. on Feb. 25. Doors will open at 8 a.m. Cost for the conference is $15 per person and will include lunch and a bundle of resources.

Registration is open online. Click here to register for the conference.

“Through compelling worship, clear preaching and quality breakouts, you will find something on the schedule for every leader in your church,” Upshaw said.
