We will be holding our 2024 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Project Leader Workshop on Sunday, September 8th, from 3:00-4:30 at the Union Baptist Association (1744 Williams Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). This event is for all OCC Project Leaders, and anyone interested in becoming more involved with Operation Christmas Child. Learn how to promote, pack, and collect OCC Shoeboxes so that they are ready in time to be dropped-off during National Collection Week, November 18-25, 2024. Join us for encouragement & resources as we enter the shoebox packing season! At OCC our goal is “to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.” And we do this by collecting and distributing Gospel Opportunity Shoebox gifts to children throughout the world. Over the past 30 years since OCC began in 1993, 11 countries have been collecting shoebox gifts and more than 220 million shoeboxes have been received and distributed to over 170 countries and territories!
