 st annual meeting is now open.\nMessengers and guests may visit ncannualme
 eting.org to register for the meeting\, which is scheduled for Nov. 4-5 at
  the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.\nBecause this year’s meeting c
 oincides with the U.S. elections on Nov. 5\, the annual meeting features a
  condensed schedule on Tuesday\, with sessions ending at 4 p.m. Messengers
  and attendees have also been encouraged to vote early.\nTo register for t
 his year’s annual meeting\, messengers should use a unique\, personal emai
 l address\, and they will need their church’s ID and PIN numbers. Guests w
 ill also have the opportunity to register by selecting the “visitor” optio
 n on the registration page.\nA letter containing registration instructions
 \, along with ID and PIN numbers\, has been mailed to N.C. Baptist churche
 s. Churches that have an email address on file with the state convention w
 ere also sent an email with instructions and their ID and PIN numbers on S
 ept. 16.\nAny churches who did not receive a unique church PIN or ID — whi
 ch is not the same as a church’s SBC ID — are encouraged to contact the st
 ate convention at (800) 395-5102 or (919) 459-5555.\nRegistrants will rece
 ive a ticket for the annual meeting via email after completing their regis
 tration. If registrants do not receive their ticket within an hour\, they 
 are encouraged to check their email spam folder.\nAn additional email with
  the ticket will be sent just prior to the annual meeting. Attendees must 
 present their ticket when they arrive and check in at the annual meeting i
 n November.\nThe theme of this year’s annual meeting is “On Mission Togeth
 er” and is based on Matthew 20:26-28\, which says\, “whoever wants to beco
 me great among you must be your servant\, and whoever wants to be first am
 ong you must be your slave\; just as the Son of Man did not come to be ser
 ved\, but to serve\, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”\nMessenge
 rs and guests will have several opportunities to reflect on being on missi
 on together— especially during the meeting’s breakout sessions\, times of 
 worship and during the N.C. Baptist and IMB Sending Celebration taking pla
