Messengers an d guests can now register for the 2024 N.C. Baptist annual meeting\, which will take place on Nov. 4-5 in Greensboro. Read the story below to learn more.
\nOnline registration for the 2024 N.C. Baptist annual meeting is now open.
\nMessengers and guests may visit ncannualmeetin g.org to register for the meeting\, which is scheduled for Nov. 4-5 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.
\nBecause this y ear’s meeting coincides with the U.S. elections on Nov. 5\, the annual mee ting features a condensed schedule on Tuesday\, with sessions ending at 4 p.m. Messengers and attendees have also been encouraged to vote early.
\nTo register for this year’s annual meeting\, messengers shou ld use a unique\, personal email address\, and they will need their church ’s ID and PIN numbers. Guests will also have the opportunity to register b y selecting the “visitor” option on the registration page.
\nA lette r containing registration instructions\, along with ID and PIN numbers\, h as been mailed to N.C. Baptist churches. Churches that have an email addre ss on file with the state convention were also sent an email with instruct ions and their ID and PIN numbers on Sept. 16.
\nAny churches who di d not receive a unique church PIN or ID — which is not the same as a churc h’s SBC ID — are encouraged to contact the state convention at (800) 395-5 102 or (919) 459-5555.
\nRegistrants will receive a ticket for the a nnual meeting via email after completing their registration. If registrant s do not receive their ticket within an hour\, they are encouraged to chec k their email spam folder.
\nAn additional email with the ticket wil l be sent just prior to the annual meeting. Attendees must present their t icket when they arrive and check in at the annual meeting in November.
\nThe theme of this year’s annual meeting is “On Mission Together” and is based on Matthew 20:26-28\, which says\, “whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant\, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave\; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served\, bu t to serve\, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
\nMessenger s and guests will have several opportunities to reflect on being on missio n together— especially during the meeting’s breakout sessions\, times of w orship and during the N.C. Baptist and IMB Sending Celebration taking plac e on Monday night.
